As Tonic Herbalists specializing in dry powdered extracts, we have tried numerous different storage vessels over decades.  Powdered extracts are particularly susceptible to clumping or solidifying if exposed to any ambient humidity.  Therefore it is crucial to store these precious extracts in airtight containers.  This is why we've chosen amber glass jars with airtight metal lids as the standard for all our powdered Tonic extracts.

 

Miron Violet Glass offers an elevated level of protection and preservation for extra precious ingredients. Biophotons are invisible light particles generated by almost all living cells. Miron Violet Glass protects the biophotonic activity of natural products, preventing the loss of biophotons, extending shelf life, and making preservatives unnecessary.

 

Widely used for spices, extracts, honey, super foods, coffee and more, these wide mouth jars are perfect for storing homemade Custom Formulas and Powdered Tonic Herb Blends. This 250ml volume can fit about 100g to 150g of our powdered Tonic Extracts, (depending on the density of the extract).

 

Miron Violet Glass effectively blocks the harmful portion of the sun's rays, while allowing in only the beneficial portion of the ultraviolet and far infrared spectrum.  Violet glass also acts as a natural barrier for energy stored within the product itself, prolonging the natural quality of the product. In scientific tests, when compared to other glass, plastic or aluminum packaging, Miron’s violet glass offers a significantly better storage quality and longer shelf life. Plus, their ease of reuse and recycling, makes Miron glass a sustainable choice.

 

The lid has a smoothly curved profile with rounded edges. It is made from a heat-resistant thermoplastic resin called styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN) and has a glossy black finish. SAN is regarded as one of the safest plastics, and items made from SAN have a remarkable shine and durability. This reusable, premium-quality material is safe for food and frequently used with dry products. Each lid includes a violet-colored sealing element to enable the jars to be hermetically sealed. This element is made from PHAN, a three-layer laminated product consisting of two layers of solid PET films on the outside and a layer of EPE foam on the inside. The foam center core ensures an airtight seal, protecting the contents inside of the jar.
