The Cintamani Apothecary was born from the desire to offer our clients the highest quality tonic herbal extracts available.  We call our extracts Beyond Organic because they are produced utilizing practices that exceed current "Organic" Standards. Many of our Chinese Tonics are considered Tao Di, or grown in "the original way" they have been cultivated for centuries. Our herbal extracts are laboratory tested (and have been 3rd party verified) to ensure that they are free of poisons, heavy metals, or other contaminants; and we are happy to provide Certificates of Analysis upon request. As Herbalists with a wellness practice, we need to provide our clients pure and potent tonics that will be completely beneficial, without adverse effects from pollutants, excipients, nor fillers.  The herbs we purvey are the same herbs we proudly enjoy and share with our family on a daily basis.

Freshness Guaranteed

When you purchase Cintamani Tonics you can have full confidence that all our extracts and herbs are fresh, direct-sourced from the producer, and will maintain potency for years in our airtight jars.  We do not purchase these herbs from a storage warehouse.  We contract the producers in China and India to craft the extracts fresh-to-order in small batches specifically for Cintamani Tonics.  The organic cooperatives will then source the raw material and create the tonic extracts.  Once the processing is complete, the herbs are shipped directly to Cintamani.  This allows for ultimate freshness that is not generally available. For this reason, our herbal extracts can be shelved in their light-tight, air-tight jars and maintain potency and efficacy for many years. Our Herbal Extracts are wonderfully versatile for a variety of herbal applications and long-term storage options.

Therapeutic Potency

Cintamani Tonics specializes in 10:1 powdered extracts and dual extracts created in North America, China, and India.  "10:1" describes the concentration level of the extract ~ meaning our extracts are 10 times more powerful than raw herb powders, delivering therapeutic dosages and benefits. Some herbs naturally coalesce in different concentrations, like 5:1 or 6:1. This means that the herb is so concentrated in the active constituents, it only takes 6 kilos of the raw material to produce 1 kilo of the Herbal Extract. This is more common in herbs that are mostly water-soluble like berries. However, woody herbs like Eucommia may require 10x more raw material to produce 1 kilo of extract.

We have over 15 years of experience consulting with clients, crafting small-batch herbal extracts, and supporting others to find balanced health with the wisdom of plants.
